We welcome walkers and neighbours to enjoy the beauty and biodiversity in the landscape at Wadhurst Park. In addition to the public rights of way, we have created a network of permissive paths to give visitors more options.
We aim to strike a balance between being a haven for wildlife and allowing visitors to experience it. Please do not stray from the paths indicated on the map below.
Dogs can be a particular disturbance to livestock and ground-nesting birds. On our permissive paths (marked red on the map) dogs must be kept on leads at all times. On public rights of way (marked green and purple) dogs must be kept under close control. Close control means your dog, like you, should be on the footpath. If you cannot keep your dog on the footpath you must keep it on a lead.
Please note that there is no public parking at Wadhurst Park. Parking is available in Wadhurst and Mayfield villages and at Stonegate station, which are connected to the estate by public footpaths.
